Damiana + Rose Honey • large jars

Damiana is a potent plant ally that grows in the warm, dry climates of South America and Mexico. She was highly revered by the Mayans, Aztecs and Guaycura for her her aphrodisiac enhancements and her warming, stimulating properties that can help support a variety of stagnant, boggy dispositions. Her flavor can described as sweet and warming with a hint of spiciness that is uniquely invigorating - she makes a wonderful circulatory stimulant for cold winter months.

Damiana can be a wonderful ally for supporting stagnation and can increase flow and movement for delayed menses, sluggish digestive systems and boggy moods. She is also a beautiful ally for those who tend to feel stuck, scared, timid or unsure and are inclined to withdraw into themselves. She can help strengthen your confidence and mental clarity by relaxing and stimulating the mind without over stressing it, allowing you to focus on the present instead of the abstracts.

Magickally, Damiana is associated with Venus, Jupiter and the element Fire. She has many applications that center around her stimulating properties and adding her to a cup of tea can be useful for helping with Love, Luck, Divination and Dreamwork.

We paired this wonderful herbal ally with our homegrown rose petals to create a gently stimulating honey that can be added to your coffee or tea (or just taken by the spoonful) to help add a little warmth and gentle energy to your day.

Ingredients: Raw PNW honey, organic Damiana leaf and homegrown rose petals.

Raw honeys can crystalize in colder weather. We packaged this blend up in a large mouthed jar to make removing the honey easier. If crystallization does occur, you can gently rewarm the honey in a pan on the stove (never in the microwave, which kills off honey's beneficial compounds).
